Karl L A G E R F E L D - THE GENIUS GONE

Once upon a time, not far long, in a world of fashion, elegance, style and boldness lived the man who was "very much down to earth, just not this earth." I am pretty sure that his legacy will never ever leave that same world.

Perfectly white, endlessly sophisticated and magically elegant - this can't be anything else than latest CHANEL collection designed for the very last time by the incomparable and iconic King of the fashion world, the one and only - Karl Lagerfeld.
I tried to choose the perfect words to describe Karl's latest CHANEL Autumn/Winter 2019/2020 Collection presented at Paris Fashion Week.

But this is not only about this Fashion show.
Neither is about Paris Fashion week.
Or about beautiful models slaying the runaway as they always do.
We could see gorgeous Penelope, humble and young Kaia and fierce and proud Cara on that snowy idyllic runaway, but this time it's not about them.

It's all about the world of imagination, inspiration, beauty and charm with which the genius Karl was creating the fairy tale called collection. We had enjoyed  so many over the years and that will stay with us forever, even if he is not here anymore.

The magic that he created over and over again is simply unexplainable.

Maybe the trick was in his huge studio-library that was such an inspiration for him, or owes everything to his brilliant mind, the eternal source of his ideas and possibilities. I would say he is born that way, to be one of a kind. The last thing seems the most logic to me. Karl was really unique.

For everybody else it would be more than enough to create a few collections for one fashion house in a year, but it wasn't also for Karl, who created 20 collections for even 3 famous labels! Such a genius, could you imagine that?! And it's not all. Beside all the masterpieces created over the years, he was photographer, passionate reader and also wrote a couple of books. He created magic in the runaways, watching it, one would be transported immediately in some higher level of imagination.
I really can't find the words to describe his value, his contribution, the role that he had in our lives and in fashion industry. His impact can't leave anybody indifferent, but everybody speechless. I am wondering how he could  have the inspiration to create for years and to be always better from which he was. From where it comes?

I would say that he didn't sleep his entire life in order to have time to put on paper and create all that he imagined, but he seemed to be tireless.

I can't explain what gave him inexhaustible strength and will to shine so bright, but I can thank him.
THANK YOU, KARL...
-For bringing me and all of us in a world of beauty from which is very difficult to leave once you are in.
-For your being.
-For endless, brilliant, gorgeous and most beautiful pieces of the clothes that this world had ever seen.
-For the runaways that were show for themselves, even if the models weren't walking there at all.
-For teaching me that if you want to be elegant and never go out of style, be Chanel.

RIP Legend, you will never be forgotten.
